Mandatory Requirements For Membership Consideration in the RFEC

     
Property Requirements
 

     1. Must be Nationally and Internationally Recognized (Conde Nest, Zagat, Etc.)

 
       2. Major Food and Beverage Operation  
       3. Must be recognized as 4 Star or 4 Diamond  
       4. Supports and encourage exchange of staff seasonally.  
       5. Involvement with local ACF events.  
       6. ACF approved apprenticeship and/or culinary externship site.  
     
  Chef Requirements  
 

     1. Must be in the culinary profession for not less than ten years.

 
       2. Must be certified chef understanding that Certified Executive Chef and American Academy of Chef membership is encouraged.  
       3. Must be a member in good standing of the American Culinary Federation and remain so to hold RFEC membership.  
       4. Must be active in local ACF chapter holding an office, volunteering or consistent attendance.  
       5. Training and graduating and ACF apprentice or culinary extern.  
       6. The actual lead chef for any of the following examples: Chaine des Rotisseurs dinner, local or regional ACF Chapter dinner, Les Amis de Escoffier dinner, or any other nationally recognized association.
